Derby Rolls into your Living Room with WFTDA.tv

Attending a local bout is one thing, but how many people can actually travel across the country to see big name match-ups? Well, now you can (sort of). WFTDA has launched a new site, WFTDA.tv, that allows users the ability to stream high-quality derby footage straight to their own computers.  WFTDA has partnered with Blaze Streaming Media, and  initially plans to provide both regular season and playoff coverage. As the season progresses, they hope WFTDA.tv will become a venue for league-produced material. Though nothing quite compares to sitting front and center at an exciting bout, this makes roller derby accessible to anyone who may not have a home league. Who knows, we may just start seeing new leagues popping up all over the country because of this.
