Sugartown Brings the Banked Track to Ventura

Sugartown Roller Girls set to  kick off their inaugural season on June 30th. They are Ventura’s first and only banked track roller derby league. Though they were formed in 2009, they’ve spent the last few years training and searching for home (known as the “Sugar Shack,”) and building their very own banked track. One of the advantages to a banked track vs. a flat track is that there is no need to re-tape the track, since the venue cannot move.
