Taping a Track? Here are Some Tips

Nothing sticks to tape like tape
Don’t let it touch sticky side to sticky side
Take care when working with painted surfaces
Pull the tape up slowly at a 45 degree angle
Don’t let someone “accidentally” take your tape
Use a color that no one else has
Use painters grade masking tape if it will stay in place for more than a day
Utility grade masking tape dries out and leaves behind a hard residue
Don’t store tape “edge to edge”
Rolls of tape stored this way will quickly bond together
Get maximum holding power by starting with clean surfaces
Dirt and grease keep tape from forming a strong bond
