What kind of track tape works the best: duct tape, painters tape or gaffers tape?

Taping a track can be a difficult process, but the more you do it the quicker and easier it gets. Get as many hands involved as you can, and your track will be finished before you know it. Many leagues use painters grade masking tape to mark the boundaries, but it has a tendency to tear and isn’t available in many colors. Duct tape will likely leave a sticky residue on your track, better leave that for taping your skates. The best option  is gaffers tape, which doesn’t leave a residue and is very durable. It also comes in a variety of cool colors, including neon pink and green. For regulation sizes and track specifications click here.
