Arab Spring Brings Roller Derby To Egypt

Loosening of restrictions on women in Arab countries has had an unexpected impact on roller derby.

The Cairo, Egypt based CaiRollers are Egypt’s first roller derby organization. There is so much interest that the number of skaters has doubled in less than a year and there are now four teams in the CaiRollers stable.
