Caution: These girls aren’t your typical cheerleaders

An article on DNAinfo.com recently featured the roll of the Jeerleaders in Gotham Girls Roller Derby. While they bring spirit to the match,  you won’t hear them shouting your typical “Ra Ra go team!” cheers. They represent the dark side of cheerleading, though still full of encouragement and camaraderie for the teams they support.
